In 1977, as a project for my photography
course, I took a series of photographs in pubs in Great Baddow, Chelmsford,
Essex. The pubs featured were the Beehive, The Blue Lion, The Carpenters
Arms and The Star. (but not the White Horse or Kings Head) I hope
these Pictures are of interest to those who know these pubs. If anyone
cares to mail me the names of people they recognise, I'll add the

| I used to
spend more time in the White Horse than the other Great Baddow Pubs
so it would be a shame not to have a photo of it. After the pub we often
used to visit the chip shop in the Vineyards, - click on the thumbnails
below - and note the prices! (1976 / 1977 ) |
