I remember the beatifull memories and how genuine and friendly the people were . I wish I could find more picture of the promenade road.

E-mail: jsprwood@btinternet.com 		These pictures are a trip down memory lane. I have many happy memories from way back in the early 1950's to the year 2000. Loved the port and harbour, the west wall and pebble beach. Your photographs bring it all back - very poignant.
So much has changed and not for the better.
I remember one could look across Seaford Head on a clear summer day and marvel at the beauty of the downs, all yellow with rippening corn. Now, alas, all built on and the view spoilt. Nevertheless, Thanks for posting these evocative scenes ;-)
